Virtual Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge – 45-Minute Session for Kids
This condensed 45-minute session is designed to take children through the ascent routes of the famous Yorkshire Three Peaks via a special virtual reality tour. The session will focus on keeping their attention while providing an enriching experience and fostering mental resilience and a sense of achievement.
Session Breakdown:
Total Duration: 45 minutes
Activity Duration for Each Peak: 15 minutes per peak (focused on ascent routes)
0-5 Minutes: Introduction and Welcome

Overview: Briefly introduce the virtual challenge and explain that the children will virtually ascend the famous Yorkshire Three Peaks (Pen-y-ghent, Whernside, and Ingleborough) via special VR tours.

Engagement: Let kids know that they will experience the stunning views and landscapes, with each mountain offering its own exciting adventure.

5-20 Minutes: Virtual Ascent of Pen-y-ghent

35-50 Minutes: Virtual Ascent of Ingleborough
