2025/2026 campaigns
Mountains For All CIC is ready to take inclusion to new heights — quite literally.
We’re currently awaiting news on vital funding that will help us launch our Mountains For All campaign — a bold, year-long project that will support thousands of people across the UK who currently face barriers to accessing the outdoors.
Our goal is simple but powerful:
To hike over 100 mountains and accessible walking routes — including the iconic Wainwright peaks — and turn each one into a fully immersive 360° Virtual Tour, freely available to anyone, anywhere.
But what makes this truly unique is how we’ll do it:
We’ll be hiking 2–3 times a week with groups of up to 20 people — individuals with a wide range of disabilities and neurodivergent conditions. These group hikes aren’t just about reaching the top; they’re about connection, confidence, and creating community. As we walk together, we’ll film the journey using specialist 360° cameras, capturing the full experience through the eyes of those on the trail.
This has never been done on this scale before — and the impact will be life-changing.

For the people who hike with us: It’s a chance to spend meaningful time in nature, make new friends, build confidence, and feel part of something bigger. After each hike, participants will be encouraged to share their reflections and write reviews — helping others with similar needs feel safe, seen, and inspired.

For others planning to get outside: The virtual tours will show real terrain and accessibility, helping people make informed decisions about which routes work for them. Seeing someone like you on the trail is powerful — and it might just be the nudge someone needs to get outside themselves.

For those who can’t physically join: The tours will bring the mountains home — through VR headsets, phones, or computers — offering all the beauty, peace, and mental health benefits of nature in a truly accessible way.
This isn’t just about creating content — it’s about creating community. A movement of shared stories, lived experiences, and open trails.

The Appalachian Trail Highlights

Mount Fuji Sunrise Summit

Iceland’s Laugavegur Trail Adventure
Immerse yourself in the otherworldly landscapes of Iceland. This campaign will showcase steaming geysers, colorful rhyolite mountains, and expansive glaciers. -
Scottish Munros Challenge
Closer to home, this campaign will feature a selection of Scotland’s Munros, offering VR experiences of these challenging yet rewarding climbs amidst breath taking highland scenery.
Each campaign would continue Mountains For All CIC’s mission to bring the joys and benefits of hiking to everyone, breaking down physical and geographical barriers through innovative technology.
